Now, you can make your own music
SINGAPORE: Soon, going to the local music store to get your favourite music track will be passe. Now, not only can you download the music of the artist of your choice to your phone, but you can also edit it, insert additional inputs like artist information, and share your self-created music collection with your friends at the website.
And all this can be done in the latest Nokia 5310 and 5610 Xpress Music, launched in Singapore at Nokia Go Play event, last month, with the aid of newly launched digital music store aiming to provide local music to all regions across the world which can be accessed on the desktop.
However, to access these services, you have to wait till the end of this year, when the company will launch it formally in India.
For Indian music lovers, here is a time to rejoice as the company has been working with the Hindi music industry and artists to give them a wide variety of choice. Jose - Luis Martinas, vice-president, sales and channel management, Nokia Multimedia (Asia Pacific), said: "Though one can download music from any other source in these handsets, but our music store would serve as a one-stop destination for all kinds of music."
To widen its reach further, it also launched Nokia's internet services, Ovi. "Ovi is a place where people can discover digital content, create and share media, connect to communities and explore the world," said Ikka Raiskinen, senior V-P, multimedia experience, Nokia Multimedia.
